spra yarm, screw o ff th e nut to t ake o ut the w asher on to pof t he spray arm and r em ove the arm. Wash th earms i n soapy and warm
wat erand use a soft bru sh to clean the jets. Replace t hem after rinsing them thoroughly.

Fi lter as semb ly
For best pe rformance and r es ults, the f ilter asse mbly must be cleaned.
Th e fil ter efficiently removes food particles fro mthe washwater, allo wing it to berecirculated
du ring thecycle. Fo r this reason, i t is a goo d idea to remove the larger food particles trapped in
th e filt er af tereach wash cycle by rins ingthe se mici rcular fil ter a ndcu p under r unning w ater.
To r emo ve th e f i l t er a s s e m bly, pull on t h e cu p ha n dl e in th e up wa rd dire ction . Th e en t ire filter
as se mbl y sh o ul d be c lea ned at least onc e a m on t h.
To clean the coarsefilter and the fine f ilter, use a cle aning bru sh. Then, reassemble the fi lter
pa r t s as s hown in t he f igures le f t an d r ei ns ert t h e en ti r e as s em b ly in th e di s h washer,
positioning inits seat and pressing downward.
Th e dish wa s he r must ne ver be used wit h out the f il ter s. I m prop er re pl a c eme n t of the f ilt er m ay
reduce the performancelevel of th e applian ceand d amage dishes and utensils.
To clean the edg e around the door, you should use only a soft warm ,damp rag.To pr event
pe netration of water into the door lock and elect rical com ponents, do not us ea spray cleaner
of any kind .
Also, never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pa ds on t he oute r sur faces bec ause they w ill
scratch the fini sh. Some papers towels can also scratch or leave marks on th e surface .
After eve ry wash, t urn off the water s uppl yt o t he appliance
and l eave the d oor sli ghtly a jar s ot hat m oistur eand odors
are n ot trapped inside.
To cle an th e exterior and rubber parts o f the dishwasher, do
not use sol vent s or a brasive cleaning products. Rather, use
only a clot h and w ar m soapy water. To remove spots or
stains from the surface of the interior, use a cloth dam pened
with water and a litt le white v inegar, or a cleaning product
made specificall y for dis hwashers.
When yougo on v , itis recommended thatyou run a
wa sh cycle with the d ishwa sher empty and then r emove
the plug from the socket, tur n off the water s upply and
lea ve th e door of the appli ance slightly ajar. T his w ill help
the seals las t longer a nd prevent odorsfrom forming
wi thin the applia nce.
